Fashion Photography- Edina Magazine, May 2014 Issue

This is a special blog posting from a photography project I did for the Edina Magazine's May 2014 issue. With the upcoming release of the movie Grace of Monaco, starring Nicole Kidman, the magazine decided to run a feature story on local wedding vendors and products with a Princess Grace flair. We were lucky enough to get access into Minneapolis' Van Dusen Mansion for photographing our gorgeous model and table decor details. See my favorite shots below!

Melissa and Dom are a unique couple- their relationship has grown over the course of two years, in two different cities. Pittsburgh (Dom's home) and Minneapolis (Melissa's home). They met each other in Pittsburgh, just before Melissa was about to leave for her medical residency. Their wedding will be in Pittsburgh, but they wanted to have an engagement session in Minneapolis to represent their time there. I have to say that this is the most colorful engagement session I've ever photographed... Pink, Yellow, Blue! And Donuts! You would have never guessed that a huge thunderstorm was rolling in and we had to scramble to get the outdoor shots done before the downpour began! Congratulations Melissa and Dom, I'm excited to be a part of your wedding party next summer!
