Carina + Trent
Engagement Session
Historic Union Depot in St. Paul
Carina and Trent decided to have their engagement session at the St. Paul Union Depot. This beautiful historic train station was the perfect setting for this couple. Carina's grandfather proposed to her grandmother at the train station, back in the 1940's after being gone for three years in WWII. What a romantic story! Carina and Trent are planning an intimate wedding at their family's home in Minnesota this summer. I'm excited to see how they decorate- their plans to have a candle-lit outside dinner sound so beautiful!
Married in St. Paul, Minnesota
Ceremony: Como Park Conservatory
Reception: Wabasha Street Caves
March 22nd, 2014
I met Chris and Erin at a picnic last Fall- what a fantastic couple! This wedding was the perfect start to my 2014 wedding season. Chris and Erin were so full of love and emotion, the pictures were effortless, and the day went flawlessly. I've had the pleasure of getting to know them over the year, through our mutual love of swing dancing and the Aster Cafe's Jazz Brunch. These two sure can dance! No doubt, this was the best dancing at a wedding I've ever seen... I think they even did The Charleston at some point! The Wabasha Street Caves were a perfect fit for this couples' reception and their many talented Lindy Hopping friends. The music was provided by Robert Bell, Gary Schutte, and many other gifted local musicians.
Thanks to my wonderful second shooter, Amanda Gahler, for assisting me on this wedding! Amanda always does a fantastic job. A few of her photos are included in this blog post as well.
